Managing Directors Andy James, Helen James and Wayne Jones launched Dial a Dog Wash in 1999. After seeing the mobile operation in the States. they decided to launch the service in the U.K. The business proved such a success that it was launched as a franchise in order to duplicate the service around the U.K. To date Dial a Dog Wash has become the most successful service of its kind through its franchise network.

The concept came about when we were on holiday in the USA and we saw several mobile grooming parlours and thought what a fantastic idea. The rest is history.

We soon saw the demand for mobile grooming services and the business became an immediate success. We eventually had 3 vans specially converted for grooming. We saw the opportunity of making this business available to dog lovers who would like to share in our success.
