I'm Dave Caddy. Myself and my family have lived in Newcastle for many years.

I worked in the butchery business for over twenty years and wasn’t really looking for anything else because I was extremely comfortable, with a brilliant  family.

I had no debts, I was well paid, I took big holidays etc, you get the picture  and  then I saw this fantastic idea early in 2006 and after extensive training in theory, practical and out on the road with other experienced Groomers, I eventually launched Dial a Dog Wash Stoke in August 2006.

So far it has been a wonderful journey and I wake up each morning with a  spring  in my step raring to get to my first appointment!

Dogs are like our children  but probably easier to handle with all sorts of  personalities and for me it has  been a pleasure  to groom, wash and clip these wonderful animals, long may it continue.

My Family and I also fundraise for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

This is George the Airedale Terrier, who wasn't treated very well by his previous  owner, so he had to be cut right back so as to let  the famous Airdale Face, Skirt and  feathers re grow. Mrs Clewes is doing a fantastic job as Georges new Mum.
